I am an independent robemaker who can make a variety of hoods and gowns for academic dress.
 
 
All hoods and gowns are made to order individually in a variety of materials and cuts rather than mass produced.

I can also make a limited range of specialist gentlemen's garments, such as white tie full dress waistcoats, to order.
 
 
 
 
The drawing of a hood on the right is the hood designed by me unofficially as a replacement to the former Lampeter LicDD unconventional cape academical that was implemented in 2009. It is Cambridge full-shape in scarlet cloth bound along the cape with white fur in accordance with the original cape.
 
 
 
Cancellation policy
 
Please note that I would only accept returns if the item is significantly flawed or had been made incorrectly due to error on my behalf. An order could not be cancelled if you have already paid for it and I have ordered/bought the materials and/or have starting cutting the cloth. If I do decide to accept cancellation, this may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on how long between the time of payment and notice of cancellation or progress of the order. This does not affect your statutory rights.
